CoP Event: Creating a Unified Leadership Team (LOCATION CHANGE)
September 13, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Today more than ever, there is great pressure for individuals to lead themselves while managing team relationships to achieve organizational results. Unfortunately, many are woefully unprepared. Leadership and team behaviors are frequently counterproductive because people aim themselves AT each other, rather than willingly working WITH each other.
Stress and workplace pressures are the new normal. So…as a leader, how do you prepare yourself to lead in ways that others will trust and follow? The answer is found in building proficiency in proven leadership behaviors that consistently yield the best results in good or bad times.
As Director of Organization Development at eviCore Healthcare, Jane Smith-Stage is a champion of identifying employee talent and integrating with business processes to achieve customer, employee and profit excellence. With over 30 years of experience, her passion can been seen through work such as corporate-wide Culture Action Plans and coaching leaders to reach their full potential. A strong follower and facilitator of the Ken Blanchard Companies and the Franklin Covey organization, Jane loves working their leadership programs to grow thoughtful and impacting leaders.
Auburn University is Jane’s alma mater for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. In the 1990’s, she earned a Professional Corporate Coach (PCC) certification through the International Coach Federation, followed by a graduate certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Southern Methodist University. Jane lives in the Nashville area with her husband and has a blast being ‘Lovie’ to two amazing grandchildren, Roman and Pearl. (Yes, she thinks her children and children-in-love are great too.)
As an Organization Development Specialist at eviCore healthcare, Bekah works with individuals across all levels of the organization. From developing and facilitating leadership sessions, conducting one-on-one Predictive Index and 360 result read-backs, acting as project manager for various OD initiatives, and moonlighting as a ghost-writer for a blog on the organization’s intranet, Bekah stays busy wearing many different hats. She came into Organization Development from a background in Training and Development, having managed the Curriculum Development function of MedSolutions, Inc., prior to the merge with CareCore National that created eviCore healthcare. Bekah’s degree in English Literature and Women’s Studies from Middle Tennessee State University has served her well (and they said English majors never get jobs….).
Bekah is passionate about diversity and inclusion, and works to draw connections and create relationships. She received certification as a Predictive Index analyst in 2014, and is currently in the process of obtaining her CPLP. Bekah lives in Murfreesboro with her husband and the two teenagers that are still living at home (the oldest of the three kids having already moved out.) Bekah may or may not already be planning what to do with the other two kids’ rooms once they go off to college.
