About Event:

How does Whitney Houston’s hit “Greatest Love of All”, Daniel Pink, Don Reinertsten, Lean values, Agile principles, and more have to do with self-organizing teams? This session we talk about principles and practices from this myriad of sources we can adopt to empower teams to create innovative solutions while ensuring everyone is following the same vision.

About Presenter:

Tommy Norman is a Lean/Agile Coach with LeanKit where he ensures they exemplify the principles and practices their product embodies. With a diverse IT background spanning over 20 years and a wide scope of roles, Tommy has been helping clients create valuable solutions using Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and whatever else works as a Certified Scrum Coach and a 7 time Microsoft MVP. He is the coordinator for the Agile Nashville User Group and the Nashville PMI’s Agile Community of Practice as well as a frequent speaker and regional and national events. Tommy rambles on the Interwebs at and as @tommynorman. Otherwise he’s the world’s okayest guitar player, formidable nerf gun wielder, and father of five future geeks.
