PMI Nashville July 2019 Luncheon – The New Leadership Paradigm: How YOU approach a project impacts your goal and the project’s sustainability

Would you like to learn what helps project leaders to achieve their goals and sustain past implementation? Learn about the research Harvard Kennedy School of Government Professor Ron Heifetz and his colleagues completed understanding what important considerations a leader must include when approaching problem-solving in changing environments and with recurring problems. Learn how to classify your challenges through the “new leadership paradigm” lens and understand the implications are for how you, as the project manager, lead the project. This is an interactive program with application to your current projects.
Susi Willis is a highly skilled and experienced professional leader, educator, and coach who has worked in the corporate arena for the last 26 years. Her experience includes coaching one on one, with teams, with senior leadership groups, as well as designing global leadership programs, and creating change management strategies in corporate environments. Prior to starting Sangha Leadership Group in 2016, Susi worked 23 years at DuPont, the last 8 years of her DuPont career were spent in the Global Operations organization as Global Change Management Champion and Global Program Manager Organizational Development. Susi was responsible for one of the largest and most robust global corporate transformational programs on record. Operating in more than 90 countries, this leadership project supported end-to-end change in 230 manufacturing sites from shop floor to senior management teams. Together with her team, Susi created, designed, and delivered some of the latest leadership training content that offered bottom-line results in a high-stakes public company environment. Since starting Sangha Leadership Group, Susi and her team of consultants have been supporting organizations who are implementing continuous improvement cultures and production systems. Sangha Leadership Group focuses on customizing leadership, team and organizational development programs that support client business contexts. Susi received a Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University. Susi holds certification as an Organizational Transformational Facilitator from McKinsey & Company, certification as a Coach from the International Coaching Federation, as well as certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
