Katy Lange is a passionate and organized management professional. Katy has a proven record for developing strategies and creating action plans while developing a strong rapport with the business.
Katy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Boise State University and will be pursuing her MBA in Healthcare Administration in the summer of 2018. Katy earned her PMP credentials and participated in the Model-Netics course provided by the Main Event Management Institute.
Katy joined HCA in 2011, specializing in facility implementations supporting the transition to electronic health care (EHR) platforms. Through this process, facilities were able to meet federal mandates.
Katy was instrumental in the Meaningful Use Program, which is the part of the HITECH Act. Through strategies and developing action plans, Katy helped lead the HCA Enterprise to earn federal reimbursement funds ($900M). Katy managed the Health Information Exchange, a program developing the foundation for HCA to connect and exchange patient data with external healthcare facilities.
Katy created the foundation and the development of the Medication Diversion Program, working with multiple disciplines of the HCA Healthcare system: Human Resources, Internal Audit, Clinical Services Group, Marketing & Communications, IT&S and Pharmacy. Within this program, Katy has facilitated the executive leadership governance structure to develop, enforce and regulate medication safety associated with national opioid crisis. In laying the executive foundation, Katy executes initiatives with the facilities promoting patient safety. She has now moved forward to establish similar objectives in setting up the Corporate Services Line for the Laboratory Program.
Bridget Malaney is a PMP and Six Sigma Green Belt certified Project Manager with six years of experience in the construction and health care industries. For the past three years, Bridget has supported clinical excellence projects across several service lines, including: Infection Prevention, Nursing, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, Emergency Services, and PatientKeeper. Currently, she is a dedicated resource for HCA’s American Group and their laboratory stewardship programs.
Prior to HCA, Bridget worked in residential construction project management for 3 years in San Diego, CA. Her focus was on permit and budget management. Bridget holds a master of arts in Rhetoric and Writing from San Diego State University and a bachelor of arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Kentucky. She has PMP credentials from the Project Management Institute and earned her Six Sigma Green Belt from Belmont’s Jack Massey Graduate School of Business in August 2018.
