PMI Nashville July 2018 luncheon – Increase Project Effectiveness using Change Management Principles

Project Managers are also managing change as part of their day to day activities, irrespective of the type of project. Managing change is hard. As part of this discussion, Angela will provide some techniques and strategies to effectively manage change and increase Project Effectiveness.
About the Presenter or Vendor: Angela Courtney is a Director with Ankura (formerly c3 Consulting), a management consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. She lives and works in the Nashville area and is a PMP who specializes in strategic planning, revenue growth, change leadership, and operations improvement.
Outside of work, she is the volunteer CEO of Scholar Serve, a nonprofit organization that gives the annual National Excellence in Service Leadership awards to college and graduate students. Angela is also the founder of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Nashville chapter and volunteers as an Advisor with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. A published author, she enjoys writing and giving talks on social entrepreneurship, strategy, and change leadership in organizations. She is also a CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master). Angela received her undergraduate degree and MBA from the College of William and Mary. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt University.
