PMI Nashville Leadership Community of Practice (CoP) Meeting: Ready, Set, RASIC!

This session will focus on defining roles and responsibilities for your projects. Participants will learn how to identify key activities, identify key resources, and develop a good RASIC matrix. This session will include some general do’s and don’ts of developing a good grid.

About the Presenters:
Holly Gerald Holly Gerald has more than 14 years of project management experience in the healthcare field. Holly started her project management career at a telecom company and then worked her way over to HCA in the year 2001. As Project Director, she leads the project management effort for client revenue cycle implementations.
Holly is currently involved with leading a Project Management team on implementing a client to Parallon’ s Revenue Cycle services. Holly’s past program initiatives include managing the Integrated Staffing and Scheduling System (ISAS) program, Nursing Stat initiative, the Scheduling Excellence program, the Facility Scheduler program, the Master Staffing Agency program, PRN Call Center program and Kronos iSeries implementations. She has also worked with several peers to build collaborative SharePoint sites and works with team members to add valuable templates to project toolkits.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in electronic engineering technology from ITT Technical Institute. She graduated valedictorian of her class and maintained a 3.9 GPA while working full time and supporting her family.
Susan Ibáñez has over 15 years of healthcare, Project Management and IT leadership experience. Susan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and Business from Texas A&M – Kingsville and Master of Arts in Information Systems and Business – University of Houston. Susan is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration. Susan’s other work experience includes HCA Corpus Christi Medical Center – IT Director, Parallon Shared Service Center IT Director, Parallon Project Director, Driscoll Children’s Health System – CIO and currently AVP Parallon Project Services.
Extensive leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams responsible for achieving the strategic and day to day operational objectives of large, enterprise class Health Systems, both for profit and not for profit systems. Responsible for enterprise deployments of EMR systems including Meditech and EPIC. Supporting deployment, implementation, installation and management of financial, clinical and technical systems and programs.
