The Project/Program Manager is accountable for the coordination and completion of all project deliverables. The project manager will serve as servant leader to the project team and stakeholders. Project management responsibilities will be conducted virtually 70-80% of the time.
This is a very high risk, high visibility, Executive Level Program (operating in Agile world), that will require a Program Manager who possesses industry best practices and attributes, able to navigate high levels of conflicting demands and interests from internal and cross-functional organizations, all while working in a weak-matrix environment.
This project requires a professional who is skilled at working across multi-functional areas and all levels of management. Working environment is highly complex, very political and acts with maximum urgency. The ideal candidate should also possess aerospace industry experience.
The right professional must have a proactive, can-do attitude; is eager to learn; be curious; assemble proposals and obtain stakeholder buy-in. Create and drive the Program strategy, utilizing well-honed industry best practices to manage the tactical and strategic components. Critical thinking to develop and maintain the Program roadmap; create and manage the integrated schedule; collaboration with supplier project managers for integrated schedule formation. Strategic focus on Program health and Stakeholder reporting. It is anticipated that the training program will increase in size as the Program matures and the vision of “best in aerospace and enduring global industrial champion” is realized.
