Senior Project Executive

We are looking to add a Nashville based Technical Project Manager to our growing team. The Technical Project Manager manages all aspects of various technical projects (projects that focus on software development, information technology and technical applications), including identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project(s). This position must be familiar with the project objectives as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Communicates with project leaders and/or client partners regarding status of specific projects.
Manages project progress, monitoring milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk.
Promotes teamwork in problem resolution.
Produce detailed status reports, track actions, and manage progress meetings.
Develops partnerships and uses practical thinking to drive value.
Builds and maximizes individual and team capabilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Self-starter, high energy, and motivated to innovate the business.
Detail-oriented, organized, and task-oriented.
Excellent communication skills with client focus.
Delivery focused role, involving planning, prioritization of tasks and resolution of issues to deliver per the corporate schedule.
Identifies risks and issues, works to develop effective resolution plans, and escalates in a timely manner for needed program and organizational leadership help.
Works with Application Owners to effectively plan and execute projects: upfront planning, scheduling, design, testing and migration.
At least 10 years of progressive IT experience and 5 years as a Technical Project Manager.
2+ years of experience working on AGILE projects.
Minimum 5 years of leadership and managerial experience in the information technology industry.
Experience working with matrixed resource teams including offshore development.
Experience in evaluating and estimating work effort and timing required to deliver software development work.
PMP certification is desired.
Fluency in Spanish is desired.
Background in Healthcare or Insurance is desired.
